Chicken Sausage and Apple Stuffed Mushrooms
A couple weeks ago I discovered an organic chicken-apple sausage at our local market. I made a flatbread pizza with it and my family LOVED it. At the request of my mom, I also made a stuffed mushroom recipe with it. So hey Mom . . . this one's for you! I promise your friends will love it!
They have a sweet flavor with warm spices and are so creamy. If you drizzle the plate with Balsamic Reduction, it will help balance the sweetness perfectly. These would be a terrific appetizer. They are great at room temperature.
